Morgan Kincaid Prepatory

Always Go Forward!

Morgan Kincaid’s vision and mission statements are founded on the goal of developing academics and character in our students. The school wide instructional focus of Morgan Kincaid Preparatory includes the adoption of AVID Elementary used in correlation with the common core state standards. Character building will occur through student participation in community service projects developed and fulfilled by the students themselves

Accomplishing Our Mission Through Our Focus

Family Literacy Night

Literacy Night at Morgan Kincaid was a success. Guest readers including Trustee Jones, Trustee Glasper, and Dr. Gomez came and read to families. Students were able to purchase books from the book fair or win a free book at our book walk. Students also toured the campus as walking book reports and shared their love of reading.

Congrats Girls and Boys Basketball teams

Mrs. McKenzie gave a portrayal of life before the civil rights movement. Mr. Willie Williams, from the Grammy winning musical group Fifth Dimension, shared with students his personal struggles and how he overcame them while emphasizing the importance of hard work, good choices, and keeping a focus on your goals and dreams.
